Trinity Sports Camp - Scott Olson – Owner
Nearly 20 years ago Scott Olson set out on a mission to find the ultimate way to train the human body, a passion that started late in high school while studying the intricacies of Olympic Weight Lifting. Since then, Scott has been blessed to be in the right place at the right time, gaining an incredible amount of knowledge in all areas of human performance from some of the leading fitness experts around the country.
Scott’s career started as a personal fitness trainer at Nautilus Plus in 1993. During his time at Nautilus he had a chance to work with hundreds of clients as well as learn from watching some of the best trainers in the area. Always a student of fitness, Scott tried every new fad and piece of equipment discovering the benefits and problems that were associated with each.
While remaining a personal trainer, Scott spent five years assisting in the development of the Speed, Agility, and Quickness segment of the fitness industry. Working with athletes of all ability levels, young kids through professionals, provided him with invaluable experience concerning the benefits and dangers of this particular style of training. Coaching high school football and track provided a platform for Scott to integrate all of his knowledge and experience from the field to maximize the effectiveness of SAQ training to help athletes reach top end speed in all sports.
In 2000, Scott was introduced to what he considered to be the most unique training system he had ever seen. Working for a company called Function Dynamics, Scott was able to receive instruction on how to use this system to create change in the human body, a degree of change that exceeded any method he previously experienced. This system taught him how to effectively help people meet their physical goals and further, how to alleviate pain symptoms and injuries at a level unmatched in the fitness industry.
After six great years working in this system, Scott was offered his dream job at Horizon Christian High School in Tualatin, Oregon where he currently works. He serves as the school’s Athletic Development Coach, personally overseeing the training each athlete receives. He is also the Head Track and Cross Country Coach.
In the spring of 2006 Scott founded Trinity Sports Camps. Utilizing the knowledge he has gained from 18 years of dedication to developing the best training system available. Scott and his staff are excited to share the effectiveness of their unique training system with all who are willing.
