Trinity Sports Camp - Cory Hand – Soccer Specialist
Cory has been a staff coach with Westside Timbers for six years and has eleven years coaching experience at the Club level and seven years at the High School level. He holds a National USSF “C” License.
Currently he is the Director of the Girls Westside Development Program for the Adidas Premier soccer club the Westside Timbers (formally Westside Metros), where he oversees coaches, players, and the technical development for the entire program. Cory also oversees all of the personal training (soccer technical trainer and athletic development) for the Westside Timbers. Recently Cory’s teams won the US Club Regionals with the U-12 Boys ’97 Internationals (2010) and the State Championship for Girls U19 (2012).
He was the inaugural Head coach of Horizon Christian High School’s Girls Varsity team, where he developed the program and within 4 years had become league champions with a 1A sized school against 3A competition and lead the team to the state playoffs 3 years in a row, making it to the quarterfinals 2 of those years.
Cory founded his own Keeper Academy that produced several collegiate and internationally recognized keepers. He also established Trinity Soccer Camps (well attended by athletes at the club, ODP, College, and National level). In addition, Cory serves as a personal trainer at Trinity Sports Camps.
Cory spends much of his time coaching and working with Play 4 Hope, a Non-Profit focused on using soccer to reach the lives of street kids in Rwanda, Africa. This has given him the opportunity to work with some of the best soccer players and coaches in all of East Africa.
